First ever Expo Turns a Success Packaging Link E-Commerce Blue Sea Begins
As the first professional exhibition devoted to E-Commerce, logistics and packaging in China and even the world, ECPAKLOG focused on improving the technology of E-commerce product packaging, product logistics & warehouse packaging technology and transport packaging technology. With the concept of "The Power of Change" , the exhibition area covered up to 5000 square meters, attracting 80 exhibitors from ten countries and regions: Australia, Belgium, France, the United States, Japan, Singapore, Italy, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, among which there were not only the heavyweight leading enterprises of the industry such as Tengen, Sealed Air, Xiamen Hexing Packaging Printing Co.,Ltd., Syntax Technology, CMC, Natureworks, HP, Esko, Huituo Pack, Taixing K.K., JD Logistics, SF Supply Chain etc, but also the newer generation representatives such as ICEE, Hyper Box, NettBox, Happy Pack, Air Passion.Inc and so on, all of which joined the exhibition forcefully. A total of three days of exhibition received 4273 visitors, including 43 overseas visitors from Germany, Russia, Philippines, France, South Korea, the United States, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Ukraine, Singapore, Great Britain, Italy, India and other countries. Three major themed exhibition areas: New Retail - Innovative & Creative Packaging Material Zone, Personalized & Brand Marketing Zone and Eco-friendly Packaging Material Zone, have greatly enhanced the visiting precision and efficiency for visitors.
Convergence of “Display +Forum+ Business Paring”
In the meantime, six wonderful and popular forums and activities were held: The 4th China E-commerce Packaging Development Summit; JD.com “Green Stream Initiative” Summit; 1st ISTA China E-commerce Logistics Packaging Safety Technology Seminar; Training Camp "New Retail, New Marketing, New Style" for the New Generation Packaging Designers; Safe Catering Packaging To help Online Business Development and Various Cosmetics Packaging To Boost E-business Marketing.
In addition to the simultaneous forums, a total of 11 business pairings were organized in response to the packaging demands put forward by Johnson & Johnson, KidsWant, Bestore, Benlai.com,Wochu.cn, Yimishiji, Dangdang.com, Yiguo.com, Classykiss, ele.me and vip.com. Through multiple communications and understanding in advance, while under the orderly organizations on the scene, nearly 20 exhibitors have become business pairs, which gained warm responses and unanimous recognition from both the supply and demand sides.
Pioneer Award & JD Competition Joining Hands Waves of Praises from the Industry
The first day of the exhibition witnessed the presenting of "Chinese E-Commerce Packaging Pioneer Model Award" by the International E-Commerce Packaging Committee. This award is dedicated to praising enterprises, technology, people, teams and good deeds that had made great contributions to the field of E-Commerce and new retail packaging, and also to encouraging E-Commerce and retail enterprises, packaging enterprises and business in related industry and individuals to be more active in their efforts for the better development of Chinese E-Commerce packaging. A total of 18 Awards were presented. For the Innovative Technology Award, the winner goes to CAINIAO's green dissolvable express bag, DOW Packaging enhanced polyethylene foam solutions, Syntax Technology CMC intelligent packaging technology,AirPassion cushion machine Anbao IoT paperless e-bill. Taixing K.K. E-Commerce leaking-proof liquid pump, Happypack all Eztear Cardbox 3.0 and Sealedair StealthwrapTM automatic packaging system. CAINIAO Green Movement program and JD Logistics Green Stream Initiative and other activities won the Best Event Award. In addition, Xing Kai, Duan Yanjian, Zhou Xiaowei, Li Yajuan, Xu Jingmei, Xi Yunfu and Mondelez China E-Commerce department also received the Pioneer Role Model and Team Award.
Another highlight of the exhibition was the First E-Commerce Logistics & Packaging Design Competition, sponsored by JD Logistics, undertaken by M.Success Media Group and Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, and supported by Shenzhen YUTO Packaging Technology Co., Ltd, BoxDIY, Tung Kong Inc. and Beijing Zhongbang Jianye Printing Co.,Ltd. .Three awards were designed for the competition regarding logistics packaging: Creative Visual Design, Creative Structural Design, and Green Packaging Design. Lasting 4 months, the contest attracted more than 600 contestants, with more than 1500 designs collected, and 43 of them won the prizes. Part of the award-winning works were on display at the ECPAKLOG site for exchange of ideas within the industry, which attracted great attention. In addition, the excellent IML works from 2017 DuPont Packaging Innovation Award and IMDA were also displayed in New Retail X Design Area.
ECPACKLOG, although in its first time, is a very professional exhibition, in terms of summits, forums, E-Commerce packaging award, and audience on the site. All of us are able to help promote and give advice to E-Commerce packaging development through this platform. We do hope there will be more colleagues to participate in this exhibition next year to facilitate the development of green E-Commerce packaging.

The ECPACKLOG conference is very interesting. The future E-Commerce apps will be more complex and needs extra services.
