Among them, online retail sales of physical commodities increased by 25.9%, reaching CNY 1.4633 trillion and amounting for 11.3% of the gross retail sales of the social consumer goods. Among all the physical gods sold in China, one tenth was sold via network platforms. With the fast-growing e-commerce, the packages for e-commerce logistics have shown explosive growth. According to statistics, packages delivered in 2015 exceeded 20.6 billion, most of which were from e-commerce logistics. Therefore, efficient and effective combination of packaging technology with logistics technology will provide strong support for the fast-growing e-commerce industry in China.
