Company introduction
Established in 2016, HAI ROBOTICS is committed to providing efficient, intelligent, flexible, and customized warehouse automation solutions through leveraging advanced robotics technology and AI algorithms. It aims to create value for each factory and warehouse. The HAIPICK solution is world's first autonomous case-handling robotics (ACR) system. It differs from other existing autonomous mobile robot solutions by intelligently identifying the desired totes and cartons, instead of the whole rack, and bringing them to the workstation autonomously.
With HAIPICK, you can automate your warehouse within just one week. HAIPICK has increased warehouse operation efficiency by 3-4 times and storage density by 80%-130% for clients including DHL Supply Chain, BEST Supply Chain, Phillips, and many others. The solution has been applied in 3PL, apparel, e-commerce, electronics, energy, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and several other industries, with over 2,000 HAIPICK robots deployed for 500 projects across the globe.
Headquartered in Shenzhen, HAI ROBOTICS has set up branch offices in Hongkong, Japan, Singapore, US and the Netherlands. Its business presence covers Korea, Australia, UK, France, Germany and more, with a total of over 30 countries and regions. HAI ROBOTICS now has over 1,000 employees, 50% of whom are engineers. The founder and CEO Richie Chen graduates from ETH Zürich and is a successful serial entrepreneur. Other core founding members are also from world's top-notch engineering colleges, with rich experience in research, robotics, AI, logistics, and related areas.
HAI ROBOTICS secured a seed round investment from Professor Zexiang Li, chairman of DJI in 2016, and angel investor funding from Legend Star in 2017. It completed a Pre-A of financing from Tsinghua Tongfang and Best Logistics in 2018, Series A round of financing led by Walden International in 2019, Series B round of financing led by Source Code Capital in 2020, Series B+ and C rounds of financing led by 5Y Capital, and Series D round of financing led by Capital Today in 2021, raising a total amount of fund exceeding US$235 million.
