PackOne receives a Buyer Purchase Order over the internet in an XML standard from a Cloud Based portal called TradeLinkOne and makes it available to the Supplier to create shipment documentations and statuses. The supplier receives the purchase order and then performs a packing operation (scan & pack, pack & scan, or label pre-generation) to create UCC-128 carton labels in the required Buyer format and any shipment documentation required such as packing lists, invoices, statuses, etc. Along with this shipment documentation the application produces electronic versions of the Advance Ship Notice (ASN) or packing lists, invoices or statuses. The packing list file or ASN is then sent via the internet to the TradeLinkOne website and translated back to the buyer or other designated Supply Chain trading partner.
